At World Music Adventure, we partner with local musicians and artists around the world to curate unforgettable, authentic, culturally immersive travel itineraries, leading group trips to learn about and experience unique musical styles.

World Music Adventure was born as a means to creating the type of experiences that co-founders, Krista and Emily always craved: soul-filling, transformative, once-in-a-lifetime adventures with like-minded travelers seeking connection through music and culture. Both avid world travelers and music educators based in NY, Krista and Emily are passionate about creating life-changing world music trips that are accessible to everyone, both with or without prior musical training.
Meet the Co-Founders
Emily Buckley
Emily is a lover of all things music, culture, and travel! She was born and raised in New York, but found her life’s passion exploring different cultures around the world. As an elementary music teacher for eight years, her favorite part of teaching young children was exposing them to world music and designing lessons for them to experience music and dance styles she learned from her many trips abroad. She’s been to 18 different countries including Indonesia, India, Ghana, Peru, Ireland, and Spain and still has so many on her list! She’s incredibly grateful for the opportunities she has had to experience the unique beauty of each location while connecting with locals to learn about their musical culture. Emily has found Bali to be one of the most special places in the world to be immersed in ancient spiritual and musical traditions and cannot wait to share it with you!
Krista Bruschini
Krista is a heart-centered facilitator of all things that light us up and connect us to our souls: music, movement, meditation, and community. She has taught music and choir in NYC Public Schools for ten years and owns a private music teaching studio, "Kreate Music," offering private piano, voice, and holistic music lessons. In addition, she is a certified yoga teacher. As an avid world traveler with an insatiable curiosity to learn and explore, Krista found meaning in bringing music from different cultures into her classroom. Watching her students from all different backgrounds singing their hearts out in world languages, and seeing their curiosity spark to learn more about new cultures, was part of the inspiration for World Music Adventure.
